In a humid, tropical climate, corrosion never sleeps. However, the right pipeline coating keeps steel protected for years.
PT Saka Nusa Persada applies epoxy and anti-corrosion systems built for Indonesia’s toughest conditions, including offshore sites and condensing lines. As a result, you extend service life and reduce unplanned downtime. Moreover, every job follows a documented procedure, so results stay consistent from one site to the next.

Our Pipeline Coating Process
1. Surface Preparation
Good coating starts with clean steel. Therefore, we prepare surfaces to SSPC, NACE and ISO 8501, using blasting, mechanical cleaning and degreasing.
2. Anti-Corrosion Pipeline Coating
We select high-build epoxy, glass flake epoxy, polyurethane or epoxy phenolic, so each system matches the pipe material, location and service.
3. Moisture-Tolerant Epoxy
Some lines never stay dry. In that case, moisture-tolerant epoxy bonds to wet or condensing surfaces without blistering or delamination.
4. Re-Coating and Rehabilitation
We also re-coat ageing lines and restore coating after composite or clamp repairs, while keeping a seamless bond between old and new layers.
Pipeline Coating Quality Control
- Dry film thickness (DFT) measurement
- Holiday testing for coating defects
- Adhesion and hardness testing
- Surface profile verification
- Full documentation for audits
Because condensation and temperature swings accelerate corrosion on both buried and exposed steel, we always match the system to the real operating condition. For instance, a cold, sweating line needs a different epoxy than a dry structural skid. Therefore, our survey comes before any product recommendation.
Where We Apply Coating Systems
- Internal and external pipe surfaces
- Above-ground and buried pipelines
- Fire water, cooling water and process lines
- Chemical and utility lines
- Structural components and skids
Coating works best together with cathodic protection, so consider our CP installation and CIPS and DCVG surveys too. For coating standards and training, see AMPP.
