Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection (SACP)
Magnesium, aluminium and zinc anodes corrode in place of your structure, so they supply protective current without any external power source. In addition, pre-packaged magnesium anodes make installation on buried pipelines quick and clean.
Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP)
Here, a transformer-rectifier drives a controlled current through MMO or ruthenium-coated titanium anodes. Consequently, ICCP is the usual choice for long pipelines, large tank farms, jetties and offshore structures.
